Review of Altered States (1980) by Elisa K — 10 Mar 2010
After I saw this movie I was completely blown back. This was probably the most screwed up movie I have ever seen, besides Eraserhead. William Hurt is by far the main attraction in this movie. The transformations and the ending are also amazing for the time when they were done, but I won't spoil them here.
Beautiful, terrible, daring, and amazing describe this wonderful suprisingly good movie.
