Review of Alphaville (1965) by Sze-Mei C — 07 Aug 2007
This was the first Godard movie I ever saw---And it led me to falsefied notion that Godard actually made good films--- God, was I ever wrong!
But this movie is pretty sweet anyways. It has lots of people speaking French and swimming and looking at tall buildings and shit. It's almost as good as White Chicks.
