Review of Alphaville (1965) by Ryan D — 26 Jul 2009
A very interesting French new wave Orwellian science fiction film noir directed by Jean-Luc Godard. If any of that sounds interesting to you, then I'd recommend this. While Alphaville is a little confusing at times, it ultimately proves a worthwhile and thought provoking experience.
A very cool example of a classic science fiction film with no budget and no special effects.
