Review of Alpha Dog (2006) by Rodrigo D — 19 Dec 2010
Great little movie this. A fantastic look into a; ' How must these conversations have gone?' as an attempt to understand what must have gone on in this unusual set of circumstances. More than anything else, the ride is a fun one. A bunch of kids playing gangsta and it all just getting out of hand. The acting all round is very good - especially from Timberlake and Ben Forster, who's speed induced freak outs are very funny. The world as shown is also very well portrayed. This fast paced young party lifestyle - filled with these great little moments that make you think about what it is that makes the best of these kinds of parties worth reliving.
There's also an ice cold vein running through the center that perfectly illustrates the kind of dissasociated apathy that's killing the world today. Great stuff.
