Dramas based on real events are a mixed bag - sometimes they hit the mark and sometimes they don't. I couldn't relate to these characters on any level - I don't like their music, I don't have any tattoos, every other word out of my mouth is not a cuss word and I don't do drugs or kidnap people.
Still, the acting here is above average and the story, though way too long, is involving enough to enjoy. This one works just enough.
