Review of Alpha and Omega (2010) by Thomas W — 06 Nov 2010
I know that Alpha and Omega is an animated movie; but that doesn't keep me from feeling sorry for these two characters for being unfortunate enough to be in such a poorly made film. The male wolf and the female wolf have no feelings and have NO idea that the movie around them looks this cheap; but this still doesn't keep me from having some sympathy for these toons (and this is even before the story actually begins).
While it isn't as bad as Doogal from a few years back, Alpha and Omega is another animated feature coming from a production company that has no real business making full-length, theatrical features.
Most animated movies play well to both children and adults -- a fact that has made animation such a respectable genre anymore; but Alpha and Omega skews young and it might be pretty hard for any adult to enjoy it as a romp as it isn't inspiring like many children's films are anymore.
Ho-hum ... it is a children's cartoon.
