Review of Alpha (2018) by Lynn M — 18 Aug 2018
This is a story about the very first domesticated dog. I read the reviews and people seem to have missed that point. All dogs, that's right all dogs are related to wolves. When you understand that part, watching the movie gives you something more to watch for.
It's the artists interpretation of how that first Wolf became domesticated. So for that reason I give it four stars. Otherwise I probably would've given 2.5. The backstory was a little bit long and there were a few things in the movie I would've liked to of seen done differently to get the audience More engaged But overall with the premise, I enjoyed it.
I did wish that they would have foregone authenticity and just went with English instead of subtitles. But that's just me being lazy LOL.
