A funny comedy that generates a good many laughs from it's quirky characters. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is very funny as a washed-up former child actor who won't admit to that fact. I liked the scenes when he was shooting hoops.
Just like his acting, he sucks at it but won't admit it. Ben Stiller is very good as a neurotic, play-it-safe insurance man who really gets himself into embarrassing situations. Jennifer Aniston plays the perfect opposite of Stiller's character; she's a live-for-the-moment, free spirited goofball who has consistently scared potential suitors away.
