Review of Along Came Polly (2004) by Bob S — 26 May 2012
This is one of my favorite rom-coms of the past decade despite a formula script and a brutal supporting performance by Hoffman. I figure my endearment to the story relates to the commonalities between myself and Stillerâ(TM)s misfortunate, risk-averse Reuben.
Who can't relate to trying something out of your element to impress a new woman? All of Azariaâ(TM)s scenes as the nudist, scuba diver Claude are classic. Likewise, Reubenâ(TM)s telephone hang-ups, first date misadventures, and endeavours at racquetball and pick-up basketball are all unforgettable.
