Review of Aloha (2015) by Jake M — 30 Mar 2016
Aloha was destined for greatness, I mean think about it the cast is great and though I haven't seen any Cameron Crowe films not counting this one from what I've heard he's a great director.
Aloha is an alright film but I expected more from it, Aloha has some funny bits in it as well but there not hilarious so if you're a fan of comedic actors in the film such as Danny McBribe, Emma Stone, Bill Murray, and Alec Baldwin you might be disappointed.
Also for those of you who are fans of Rachel McAdams and her romance films don't get your hopes up this film isn't a romance (though it seems to look like one in the trailer). Bradley Cooper fans might be disappointed as well though his performance in this film isn't bad its still not comparable to the films he's had in recent years such as American Hustle, Guardians of The Galaxy, American Sniper, etc.
However its not like I didn't enjoy Aloha I did it just didn't reach the full potential that it could have reached, Aloha is one of those films you would want to watch on a snowy day, rainy day, or if its a boring night and it just happens to come up.
