Aloha is a beautiful mess with Crowe's fantasy dialogue, the cast is wonderful but some how the film screws it up. Brian Gilcrest (Bradley Cooper) a military contractor gets a second chance, trying not screw up like he did last time, so he returns to Honolulu Hawaii to go to a US space program with his watchdog (Emma Stone).

Gilcrest tries to get back together with his ex-girlfriend Tracy (Rachel McAdams) she is married and has children also she is dealing with her silent husband Woody (John Krasinki) whom he is jealous of Brian.

The film has some issues like how I am not buying that Stone and Cooper have chemistry, it’s a little clichéd that we know Brian and Tracy have feelings for each other and they try to get back together but then it’s not going to happen because the husband loves her and Gilcrest still loves his watchdog Allison a dumb love triangle that just is terrible in movies.

Bill Murray was wasted in the film; he looks bored and has nothing to do in the movie. Writer-director Cameron Crowe manages to screw up the cast and not mentioning Crowe’s insubstantial writing, the romance in the film is not that strong.

Bradley Cooper’s performance was perfect, his portrayal as this character was charming. Some of the performances were awesome it’s just Crowe’s script that feels like it’s written by a child. The film is spot on.

The problem with the film is it has unnecessary scenes for example the Hawaiian tradition scenes; they were beautiful though sometimes it will take people who are watching this film out of the moment.

The film is charming the supporting cast was great to maybe the characters needed some works. Grade B+ (...
