Review of Aloha (2015) by Movie R — 05 Jun 2015

Aloha is a story about a military contractor, played by Bradley Cooper, who comes to Hawaii for a job. There he reconnects with an old girlfriend who is now married but also starts falling for a by-the-books Air Force captain assigned to watch over him during his stay there.

So this love triangle develops but I didn't really buy it in the movie. The relationships were sort of strange and the movie doesn't know exactly what it's trying to accomplish. There were some funny moments, especially involving John Krasinski's character, and some good music.

But other than that, the movie was a disappointment. I'll just give it a 2/5.
