Review of Aloha (2015) by Lucretia P — 11 Sep 2015
Aloha is so bland and a waste of talent that its almost unreal. With such a great cast and Cameron Crowe at the directors helm, this seemed like it had a lot going for it. But what we get is an incredibly slow and truly pointless story about.
.. honestly I have no idea. There is a romance somewhere here and a few love triangles, and something about space and Hawaii. None of it fits, and it felt simply ridiculous. None of the character felt real or likeable, and I didn't laugh once and wasn't engaged with the romance.
The pacing is almost laughable, and I was looking forward to the credits rolling. I did not like this movie, and I do not recommend it.
