It's no Boogie Nights, but Almost Hollywood is a solid film not only about the porn industry, but also about show business in general. It follows the usual tropes such as sex, nudity, drugs, back-stabbing, falling from grace, etc.
, but it also finds time to throw in a murder plot for good measure. The film is funny, weird, and strangely entertaining, even though the elements don't quite come together as planned. I had a blast with this underrated low budget gem.
