This is honestly one of my favorite movies, because it allows you to really connect with the characters. Between very well acted parts, and the great team of people involved in putting this together, you have a certain element of "real" that draws you in.
The story being told here could be as much about a boy traveling with a band, as it is simply about the band. I think it was well done on everyone's part, and it is VERY clear to me why it won so many awards, and was nominated for several more.
On a side note, Billy Crudup was amazing in this!! and Kate Hudson was absolutely charming!!
