Review of Almost Famous (2000) by Augustine H — 14 Aug 2013
Indeed, the ending is enlightening enough to make you ponder over how your present life is and establish your goals in life as soon as possible, but if you are not a diehard fan of rock music or don't care about knowing more about it, you are very likely to get bored just like me, and wonder, and even curse why these adolescents can be that nonsense.
The music industry is just as hypocrite as other entertainment industries, and I think everyone should have known pretty well that they are no more than businesses pretty well, aren't we? Kate Hudson and Philip Seymour Hoffman are great here, and I think everyone would find it pitiful that Kate Hudson now makes nothing more than inferior comedies after seeing her talents here.
