Review of Almost Famous (2000) by Ken C — 03 Jun 2015
Honest and unmerciful. Almost Famous is a semi-autobiograpy about director Cameron Crowe re-imagine himself as a 15-year-old writing prodigy traveled around the US as a rock-n-roll journalist for Rolling Stone.
The film captured the essence and life on the road as the young journalist followed the fictional band, Stillwater on tour. Triumph with adult content, 70s rock-n-roll and most importantly, it is about a sweet coming-of-age story that is so clever and endearing.
