Review of Almost Famous (2000) by Lou Z — 04 Aug 2010
Ahhh, The Rolling Stone Magazines. I never knew it was because of them Led Zepplin broke up. Well that's what it said in the movie.
Ok anyway, because I love Led Zepplin, Almost Famous take a younf 15 year old kid that get's an asignment by Rolling Stone Magazine to interview a band called Stillwater. Along the way he has the time of his life by becoming friends with a rock-n-roll band. If he didn't show or if he didn't even enjoy it, well I did so did you. Almost Famous offers two important standards in our lives. 1: it's always important, but mostly importantly special to be their for your friends, family loved ones. Even People that you grown into and you should never hide the idea you don't want to be with them. If they think say he/she's your friend, then you should be their's too. Apologize and forgive. Good always comes out of that. And 2: This shows how much music means to all of us and why we love. It be better to say the exact same words Kate Husdon said when she first appeard. Which by the way gave off her best perfomence in her carrer. Shes amazed in every moment she had. Now she did make very bad movies here and there and she may not be one of my favorite actresses, but I'll be tue; she's is very, very talented. Her last movie (NINE), she also did an mazaing job. And the crazy part is, she can sing and dance like a professional. If she did her own music and I wouldn't care what it is, I'll buy it. But back on track, Listen to her character say how we are the band-aids, the fans, people who love music, and all that stuff made me think I was talking to God. Her character was special and Kate Hudson bought life into her. She made her breath and become Penny Lane. Yet again, Cameron Crowe does make his character something worth watching. He did make Jerry Maguire. I do wish that this movie would be more famous than just alomst famous. But I know it is.
