Review of Almost Famous (2000) by Evan J — 04 Feb 2014
Why did I wait so long to watch!? Almost Famous might be the best film about music that I've seen. It's a coming of age story that is so different from the rest. I connected with so many characters in this movie, and that rarely happens. Typically, I'll connect with maybe one or two; but that's not the case here. And I think that was mainly due to the outstanding acting from the entire cast. The music! Oh the music was absolutely fantastic!
I tried to think of something negative to say about this movie, even if it was the smallest thing. And I literally can't think of anything. This movie was amazing. The Tiny Dancer scene was just way too good, dang that was awesome. Also, the fact that Russell is Dr. Manhattan is Watchmen is just epic.
Don't forget: DON'T DO DRUGS!
