Review of Almost Famous (2000) by Bill S — 26 May 2015

I saw the "Bootleg Cut" of the film and I heard the original is like 2 hours. How do they cut down a film like this? It's so incredible and every scene feels like it belongs and is everything I wasn't expecting.

My buddy told me that Almost Famous is a movie that I would love. I thought he was kidding but I got the blu ray of it and I trust his opinion and he was not joking. It's a coming of age, drama, comedy about rock and roll, rebellion, living free and the open road around the United States.

It's a fantastic film that truely needs to be seen. I love it, but like I said I saw the extended cut of the film and not the original. But everyone I talk to prefers the extended cut so watch that version if you haven't.
