Review of Almost Famous (2000) by Jonathan G — 09 Jan 2011

I'm sorry but I didn't like it that much. The start of the movie (when the protagonist's older sister left their house and told him that she placed her collection of rock-and-roll records under his bed against the will of their controlling mom, telling him that the songs "will set you free") holds so much promise.

But it lost my interest. Maybe because of the story or the long running time. Nice music and depiction of the 70s though. And Frances McDormand is the one to see here!
