Review of Almost Famous (2000) by Alejandro R — 28 Feb 2015
What a great coming of age film of a smart 15-year old wanting to become a music journalist and some rock stars needing a little dose of "uncool" maturity. Great performances all around. One unforgettable line in the movie that I just had to write down, which speaks to the raw authenticity that can come from dropping the celebrity mask: "The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what you share with someone else when you're uncool.
