Review of Almost Christmas (2016) by Natali C — 01 Dec 2016
The movie Almost Christmas, focuses on a beautiful but dysfunctional family who gather for the holiday for the first time since their mothers death. They all struggle to get along mainly because they are still in denial about their mother.
However, through the movie the climax takes a couple of wild turns causing it to be extremely funny. The movie can be very relatable to everyone's family being that not all families can see eye to eye.
Overall the acting was awesome as well as the soundtrack yet I dislike that the commercials and trailer gave away some of the best moments in the movie. I also feel like this movie is too similar to the movie This Christmas.
Despite of the few flaws it is definitely worth watching as it provided me with a good laugh as well as a couple of tears allowing me to forgive its minor flaws.
