Review of Alligator (1980) by Mark B — 20 Sep 2009
I don't know what created the urban legend of the Alligator that got flushed down the toilet that grew to monstrous size but it was something that I had heard of as a kid so I don't know if it was based on this movie or this movie is based on that urban legend.
Robert Forster is a cop w/ some mild male pattern baldness who is investigating some limbs & extra large dogs found in the sewers. He soon discovers that it's a giant fucking alligator that's been snacking on things below.
A good cast (Forster should have gotten more work) that adds Henry Silva to the alligator hunting fun.
