Allied exceeded my expectations. Having seen unfavourable reviews prior to release,.
I curbed my expectations, and I was glad to be proven wrong. Despite Cotillard and Pitt perhaps not being on their best form, Allied is stylish and mature, and is packed with satisfying action set-pieces.
