Review of Allied (2016) by Adam T — 26 Nov 2016
Robert Zemeckis' 'Allied' (2016) is a tense, yet fast paced thriller that I enjoyed a lot more than I thought I would, despite its flaws. The film is a tale of two halves, one being a romantic character piece, and the other being an espionage thriller.
I found the romance parts of the film to be a lot better than the espionage elements that happened to be fairly predictable to be anything to dissect or talk about. The acting isn't the best, I found Brad Pitt's performance a bit shaky in places, but overall, I was engrossed by this film and I found it entertaining throughout.
