Review of Allied (2016) by Haotian X — 02 Dec 2016
One of those movies that remind me to not care about what the critics say. For most of them, it boils down to "wasting talent". I can see what they're saying - I think Pitt and Cotillard could have done more with a tighter story - but they all seem to miss the central theme/message of the movie; namely, that war and chaos can give way to something beautiful.
If you missed that, then you missed the movie.
