WingCommander (sans felines) meets Return to Castle Wolfenstein in this WWII thriller romance about a dashing Ontarian-Quebecois pilot meeting a Parisienne-German spy, with a scarred English patient thrown in for good measure.
The shifting dunes and Casablanca setting are evocative, but ultimately, even Cotillard's convincingly "good" acting could not make up for Pitt's vacant stiffness...
