Review of Allied (2016) by Kevin R — 25 Mar 2017
The first 20 minutes or so of this movie pissed me off. Much of it is spoken in French which is completely fine but there were no subtitles! If this is on purpose, then I guess I am supposed to assume all of the French dialogue is inane, meaningless banter. How artsy! If not on purpose, then Xbox owes me $4.99.
Regardless, the rest of the movie was depressing and left a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind for this type of movie. 2 stars solely because the plane Pitt flew was awesome.
