Review of Allegiant (2016) by Pam D — 27 Mar 2016
I have to admit that I'm glad these movies aren't going just by the book. It makes it a little less predictable and little more real where relationships are concerned. I, for one, didn't like how the book Allegiant ended and was very satisfied with the special effects and character developments in this film.
It was exciting, sad, shocking, and provided a feeling of hope for mankind. It's a young adult dystopian theme - I'm not sure what people were expecting outside of that. I saw this movie twice in theaters already and will be going again because there's nothing like seeing this action on a huge screen while devouring popcorn in a panic.
Even my 60 year old mother has loved each installment of the Divergent series films. The only let down for me was that there was never a clear shot of Fours [Theo James] hot body without a shirt on.
