Review of All Through the Night (2008) by Michael G — 24 Apr 2010
All Through the Night is a sort of fun and kind of colorful story of some New York gamblers out to stop a Nazi spy cell during WWII. The whole cast is fun and Vincent Sherman's direction has a lot of film noir elements to it.
I'm sure the comedic elements were hilarious at the time but something in the punchline must've eroded in the near 70 years since All Through the Night came out. Its a fun and entertaining movie but it doesn't exactly fall into the required viewing category of Humphrey Bogart's body of work.
