Review of All the Real Girls (2003) by Ryan J — 26 May 2008
In real life, true love doesn't always conquer all; our hero is not always a knight in shining armor, his maiden, not always the saintly virgin. In real life, people don't all kiss and make up at the end of the movie.
I don't think a movie has captured this quite as well as Green has done here. The film's honesty, and fearlessness in showing how love really can hurt, makes it one of the most moving and touching films I've seen in quite sometime and it's sure to stick with me for many days to come.
Anyone looking for a film that shows the joys and pains of love, check this one out.
