Review of All the Real Girls (2003) by Hunter D — 26 May 2009
I loved this film. At first it was really doing it for me but as the story progressed got totally absorbed into it. I really liked how they depict these extremely complex and complicated characters withtin the back drop of simple small american town setting.
I thought that was an interesting contrast. I was really shocked to find out it was made in 2004 it has this nostalgic feel and look that reminds me of romantic films from the 90's. The transitions are pretty sweet I was really digging how they faded in the audio before the image it really reinforced that whole dream like quality they had going on between the two main characters.
Zooey Deschanel gives an amazing performance as per usual she is so talented.
