Review of All the Real Girls (2003) by Ronald S — 09 Feb 2010

I can't believe I've waited this long to see this film. It's really great. It's one of the most natural films I have ever seen. The improv in this thing made everyone seem like real people. It's genuinely hilarious and heartbreaking. Zooey Deschanel is as good as always and Paul Schneider really surprised me. I thought he was funny on Parks and Rec, but here is phenomenal. David Gordon Green has the career I want, being able to make these personal small films and then turning around and making big budget comedies. I hope my sophomore feature film is near the quality of this flick.

I need to finish working my way through Green's with GEORGE WASHINGTON and UNDERTOW, but this is going to be hard to beat.
