Review of All the Real Girls (2003) by David D — 30 Oct 2009
One of the few movies that really captures the pains, joys, and awkwardness of young love. Beautifully shot, this film soaks up the North Carolina mountain air like no other.
The acting is natural and feels real--do to the improvisation that director David Gordon Green encouraged. This film never feels forced or fake. You feel as though you have been dropped in these characters lives and catch a glimps of some of their most personal moments.
A truly beautiful film.
