Review of All the President's Men (1976) by Deep M — 02 Oct 2008
An engaging political detective story about exposing the Watergate scandal. "All the President's Men" could have collapsed under the weight of the complex plot but it expertly reveals each point with relative clarity while still remaining intriguing and suspenseful.
In the age of the 24-hour news cycle, it's refreshing to see Redford and Hoffman exalt the nuances of old-fashioned journalism. An expertly crafted film.
