One of the best films I have ever seen. Redford and Hoffman's portrayals as Woodward and Bernstein was very good but it is Jason Robards as Ben Bradlee that steals every scene. I love Nixon administration history so I am biased in my rating of the film but the pacing and the directing by Alan Pakula was great and phenomenal.
Not all thrillers need guns and shooting, but the great dialogue and acting really sold the film. I am also glad in the way the film ended. We all know how Watergate turned out, why show that? Great film.
