Review of All the President's Men (1976) by Brad S — 27 May 2016
In a day and age when TMZ arguably does some of the media's best investigative reporting - All the President' Men is a reminder of how important good journalism is to our society. Democracy doesn't work if there isn't a free press that is allowed to report on the inner working of power.
The story itself is a bit cumbersome and at times feels a bit complicated. But even with a partial understanding of the events surrounding Watergate the story still manages to create some tension and drama. Also its worth just watching Hoffman and Redford act. They are certainly masters of their craft.
