Review of All the President's Men (1976) by Lynda M — 19 Jan 2009
One of the most intense films I've seen consisting of only dialogue. That's extremely hard to do, considering the only way to do it is by having a really engaging script and extremely talented actors.
I guess it was the luck of the draw then, as this film was spot on, with some extremely intense moments and brilliant acting. Despite its length (most movies over two hours long are usually harder to stay engaged in, I find) its message was clear and unsettling.
Everyone's at the top of their game in this one, and it's highly recommended.
