Review of All the President's Men (1976) by Jonny B — 27 Oct 2011

Just the fact I knew this story, had nothing else I wanted know from it (this stuff is happening daily these days), but somehow when Dustin Hoffman is at the top of his game adding tremendous life to everything he touches with a fascinating and wonderfully written script by Goldman and topped off by brave, smart, and precise skills of one Gordon Willis there's not much wiggle room for complaints.

That's just picking favourites, everyone here is at their best making a known story more intriguing than one would ever expect. One of the best heavy dialogue driven movies from the 70's, almost topping 'Network'.
