Probably the strangest entry in Robert Aldrich's filmography. Although it seems odd to have the director of "Kiss Me Deadly" and "The Dirty Dozen" making a female wrestling picture, the mix of comedy and drama is not all that dissimilar from his 1970s forays into comedy/drama, "The Longest Yard" and "The Frisco Kid".
By no means is it one of Aldrich's finer films, but it's pretty entertaining in a crass sort of way.
