Review of All the King's Men (1949) by Chas F — 07 Jan 2008
I thought the main cast were excellent and the film well put together. There were a few issues with pacing and while Sean Penn was extremely watchable, you felt that he could have done more with subtlety.
Also the script has him become corrupt almost from his election instead of being a study of how politics and the system can corrupt.
