Review of All the King's Men (1949) by Joey K — 03 Apr 2008
Story of a political destiny which is totting between principles and failings, according how the system works. Some lengths, mostly at the beginning due to the (too good?) script and its sparkling conversations.
Happily it's accelerated after and the movie, helped by a brilliant cast, Penn in their head - all in nervous tics -, ends with some issues about politics and politicians which keeps being so actual.
