Review of All the King's Men (1949) by Noel K — 26 Mar 2009
Good character acting by the ensemble cast (Sean Penn has come a long way since playing Jeff Spicoli in Fast Times At Ridgemont High). The screenplay is filled with long conversational scenes and you can loose attention quickly.
It is a period piece (fictional) based on the life of Huey Long. The cinematography by Pawel Edelman is amazing! The color tints (I love the dark green) brings out the mood of the period.
