Review of All the King's Men (1949) by Narcotic Ninja — 07 May 2009

Why is this movie, which has a cast made up of wonderful actors, and even a fairly promising storyline, so mediocre. in my opinion, there is a lot of Tell where there should be Show, and the sometimes bewilderingly excessive attempts at meaningful symbolism just make it fail to succeed.

Kate Winslet is always good, of course.
