Review of All the King's Men (1949) by Mike T — 05 Feb 2010
All star cast of Oscar hopefulls take on famous book in this drama about the Southern idealistic Governor slowly but surely being corrupted in the office. Cast give solid performances and the film looks great but the story is somewhat confusing and boring.
You'll end up watching your clock because somehow Zaillian has managed to turn this into non-entertaining movie. Huge disappointment and maybe Zillian should stick to screen writing.
