Review of All That Money Can Buy (1941) by Davey M — 22 Sep 2007
Referenced all over the place. Walter Huston as the Devil manages to be both sparkling and restrained; Simone Simon offers a creepiness to the femme fatale. Edward Arnold pulls off the near-impossible task of embodying genuine good.
Stylish camera work and quite an innovative Herrmann score.
