Review of All That Money Can Buy (1941) by Scott W — 21 Aug 2012
Classic American folktale about a simple farmer who sells his soul to the Devil, here called Mr Scratch and played with relish by Walter Huston, and the American statesman, Daniel Webster, who comes to his aid.
The design is marvellous, much German expressionism influence from William Dieterle and an Oscar winning score from Bernard Hermann.
