Haven read the book I came to expect alot. It does fall short in some of its scenes from the book but also executes several scenes very moving and profoundly. Some scenes alone are enough to justify its title of greatest anti-war film ever made eventhough it does lack showcasing the hardship of a soldiers life as compared to the book.
