Review of All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) by Christine R — 01 Oct 2011
It is hard to believe this film was made in 1929. Very graphic and real depiction of life in the trenches for some young soldiers during WWI. The anti war message rings clear though out the film as the young soldiers go from classroom to battle and most often to the grave.
A must see film that has stood the test of time and was way before its time.
